Auld Lang Syne

Should Old acquaintance be forgotten
and never brought to mind
Should Old acquaintance be forgotten
And days Auld Lang Syne (old times gone)

For Auld Lang Syne, my dear
For Auld Lang Syne
We'll take a cup of kindness yet
For Auld Lang Syne!

We two have run about the hillsides
and pulled the daisies fine
but we have wandered many a weary foot
For Auld Lang Syne!

We two have paddled in the stream
From noon until dinner time
but seas between us broad have roared
Since Auld Lang Syne!

And there is a hand, my trusty friend,
and give us a hand of yours
and we will take a goodwill drink
For Auld Lang Syne!

And surely you will pay for your pint
and surely I will pay for mine
And we will take a cup of kindness yet
For Auld Lang Syne!
